about.
Hi, I'm Marina Niedermann and if La Lowman was a body, I'd be its beating heart, weak knees and hot cheeks after a good cry. I started out as a guitarist and songwriter when I was fifteen and for the last 17 years, I just couldn't stop with this music thing. I tried to give up many times. Unsuccessfully. So now I'm here and I'm finally ready for this.
Making music is a true matter of the heart for me. I pour all the creativity I have into writing songs, finding the perfect guitar sounds, fine-tuning an arrangement for a musical production and create designs to sew and print on as many thrift-shopped merchandise products I can.
La Lowman is one of the main reasons I love the world again and I want to celebrate this fragile state of being with my upcoming album. The greatest feeling for me to have is the calmness after experiencing troubling times, the quiet after a phase of thoughts making so much noise in my head it almost exploded, feeling happy again after some bad shit went down. I hope my music can make you feel these feelings, too, or at least I want you to remember they exist.
This is Eddy Sloof, the backbone and parasympathetic nervous system of La Lowman. Pretty important stuff, if you ask me! He is the drummer, tech guy and music producer and brings my visions to life with his incredible musical experience.
